The Memorial Student Center proudly presents the 59th Annual
MSC Fall Leadership Conference
Delegates for the 59th FLC consist of Texas A&M student leaders from a broad range of campus organizations. From the Memorial Student Center to Student Government Association to the International Student Association, FLC unites student leaders and cultivates leadership skills through interactive programs and speakers. Focus group leaders are selected from Texas A&M University faculty, advisors, and staff. Speakers are typically successful former students who are now leaders in their fields.
Mission Statement The FLC committee strives to enrich the student leaders of Texas A&M University through opportunities for self-exploration, learning, and networking. Through FLC, we acquaint student leaders with faculty, staff, administrators, and former students. We strive to build a productive relationship between current and former students. We help students define themselves as leaders and as members of the Texas A&M community.

Theme:
This year, the 59th Annual MSC Fall Leadership Conference will carry on this tradition of Leadership Development at Camp Allen in Navasota, Texas from August 23-25, 2011. The theme of the 59th Annual MSC Fall Leadership Conference is "Answer the Call: From Values to Action”. As demonstrated by E. King Gill on January 2nd, 1922, student leaders are often challenged to answer the call of leadership and service. Using attributes adapted from the book From Values to Action, written by Northwestern professor Harry Kraemer, we aim to enhance leaders from Texas A&M through teaching them about self-reflection, balance, true self-confidence and genuine humility. With these powerful traits, we seek to arm our leaders with the knowledge and proficiency to encounter this upcoming year to the best of their abilities… and beyond!
