Are the cabins at Camp Allen air-conditioned?
Yes, all of the cabins are air-conditioned. You can learn more about their facilities at their website, campallen.org.
Do we have to buy the book?
No, you are not required to purchase the book. However, we highly recommend that you read the book before coming in order to familiarize yourself with the themes. You can purchase the book on Amazon or at the TAMU Bookstore.
Will meals be provided?
Yes, meals will be provided throughout the conference.
I am vegetarian/vegan. Will there be food options available to me?
You will be provided options that meet any special dietary needs listed during registration.
Will we get a schedule?
Yes, you will be provided a schedule of event for the conference. We will send one out as soon as it is complete.
How do we get to Camp Allen?
We have arranged for buses to transport delegates from Bush Library to Camp Allen during the second day of the conference, and return on the third day. Delegates are not allowed to travel by themselves.
Where can we park during the conference?
During Day 1, events will take place at the Memorial Student Center, and nearby parking options include West Campus Garage and Koldus Parking Garage. During our time at Camp Allen, it is recommended that you park at the Bush Library. This is where the buses will depart from and arrive the next day.
My plans have changed. Can I cancel my attendance or make a substitution?
Cancellations can be made up until August 1st. You may make a substitution by emailing a email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. After August 1st, however, there will be a charge of $25 for any substitution, and this will be open until August 10, 2017. No substitutions will be accepted after this date.
